Behind The Scenes

With over 75 SLR cameras mounted on a 180-degree rig we were able to film some spectacular ‘Time-Slice’ action. This technique is ideal when trying to capture that magic, sweet moment when an athlete is in perfect motion. A 35mm Arri high-speed camera allowed the action to be filmed before triggering the Time-Slice rig, which resulted in some quite beautiful images of human movement and Olympic athletes at the peak of perfection.

This film was shot on location in South Africa. It was filmed over six days with two units. None of the cast had any previous acting experience, all were first time performers found locally in the township of Soweto. This film was pitched against films made by Steven Spielberg and Luc Besson and it won.

‘Next Generation’. Shot on location in Doha, Qatar. This film looks at the next generation of football stars.

A three minute star filled film shot entirely on location around London. The brief was to entertain, illustrate and inform the International Olympic Committee that London would be the perfect choice to host the 2012 Olympic Games. The film did its job!
